The Oven - 6/11/09

I turned on the oven to bake some Applesauce Muffins. While preparing the muffins I noticed a couple of things. First it smelled minty, second something was buring in the oven. I brushed off the minty smell since I was digging around in the cupboards for ingredients. I was a little miffed about the burning smell in the oven, I wondered what Mike made while I was on my trip that spilled in the oven. Later that night I turned the oven on to bake dinner and the burning was worse so I tried to clean it out. After accidentally lighting a paper towel on fire I finally got it out and it was a sticky substance. It reminded me of a marshmellow when it gets burned over a fire. Thats when it all the clues started to add up. I yelled, "who put gum in the oven?" and Halle said "me." WHY??? I'll never know what that child is thinking!
