We had a laid back Father's day this year. We had some fun cards for Mike, and we gave him a shop light for when he's out in the garage, and we're getting him some new tools too. He also got a new BBQ this month, which I'm counting as a present. The kids had fun making their daddy little cards. Halle hid her's in Anna's dresser and told me it was a secret. Jayce wrote on his "do not open til' Father's Day!" We bought a really good one at the store too. If you know us we always argue about who's the boss here. Jayce has even said that "Dad's the boss, but Mom's in charge." The card the kids gave him said "Dad we got you something to wear on Father's Day...
(you can return it to Mom tomorrow! Happy Father's Day!"

Later that afternoon we went over to the Sorensen's to see my Dad. We BBQ'd Steaks, had potato salad, etc. for dinner. All the kids went in together to get him an ipod. Now he can't blame us for taking his cd's, he always thinks we have his cd's. ???
Anyway, I think he will really enjoy it.
Mike's dad was in TX, but we picked him up from the airport that night and we were able to wish him a Happy Father's day. We gave him camping supplies for his new trailer.
I'm glad we have these special days to show our gratitude to our father's, husbands and special guys in our lives. I am very thankful for them, and all they do for us. Love you guys!!
