The regular pee-wee baseball season is over now and Jayce played for the Mets again this year. They took second place. We are so proud of Jayce! All the elements have finally started to come together for him and he is doing so well at hitting and fielding. He had to try out for the Hunter Cyprus All Star team and he made it onto the 2nd team. His coach will be the same one he has had for the last two seasons, Coach Jeremy, so he shouldn't have to relearn too much. However it is going to be a challenge because this is real baseball now, and all of the kids will be pretty good. More games and more practices, this isn't going to be easy for Mike and I either. Luckily our families said they would help us out. His first game was today against Riverton. We didn't think he was going to get to play, but into the 2nd half of the game he was put in. He made a hit at his first up to bat, unfortunately it went straight to 1st and he was out. He played 2nd base and did a pretty good job. He didn't make any errors, that I noticed. His 2nd time to bat he walked and was able to score for the team!! We won the game 11-3. WOOHOO!!
