BOLT - Suzie = Thumbs Up Kids = Thumbs Up *Toddler Friendly
We enjoyed Bolt. It's a traditional Disney film. Bolt is a Super Dog in a TV show but he doesn't know it's a TV Show, he thinks it's real. Kind of like Jim Carrey in the Trueman Show. Bolt gets out, and winds up in NY City. He teams up with a cat and hamster on a cross country adventure to Hollywood to find his human. This one even kept Annna's attention.

BEDTIME STORIES - Suzie = BIG Thumbs Up Kids = Thumbs up
I am a huge Adam Sandler fan! I was very excited to see this movie because it really was the first Adam Sandler movie the kids could watch too. Adam plays Skeeter a hard working handyman for a hotel who agrees to babysit his niece and nephew for a week. When portions of the bedtime stories he tells the kids come true he tries to use it to his advantage. Just about all the classic Sandler movie characters make an appearance (Rob Schneider, Allen Covert, Steve Buscemi, Jonathan Loughran) I even recognized his wife Jackie and daughter Sadie at one part. (When we saw him at Disneyland this fall he was with his family. We saw the Tikki Bird show with them.) He even had a part for his dog. This was one of the best movies I saw this year. Can't wait to see it again!! Anna didn't sit through this one as well.

TALE OF DESPEREAUX - Suzie = Thumbs Down Kids = Thumbs Up
Plot from imdb.com, "The tale of three unlikely heroes - a misfit mouse who prefers reading books to eating them, an unhappy rat who schemes to leave the darkness of the dungeon, and a bumbling servant girl with cauliflower ears - whose fates are intertwined with that of the castle's princess."
I was planning on renting this one but needed something for the kids to do. They liked it and it was okay but it took too long to tie all the different stories together. Anna was restless during this one.
