Thanksgiving seemed to go by pretty fast this year. We stayed very busy this week and it really didn't hit me until Thursday afternoon that I was soon to have 11 adults and 6 hungry kids over ready to eat. We all pitched in so it wasn't too much work for any of us. The food was good as usual and we enjoyed spending the evening with the family watching the Broncos play football on TV. We spent Wednesday evening at Mike's Mom and a few of his siblings and families. I have always appreciated having Dinner with them on Wednesday because it really helps us by not having to choose where to go.
I am thankful for my dear family and friends, a roof over my head, and food to eat. I am grateful for smiles and hugs from my Husband, for bed time hugs and kisses from my kids. Sunshine through the window. Simple things that make life, bearable, happy, and worthwhile. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
