Valentines Day - 2/14/10

We all came down with colds for Valentines so we didn't get much done. I usually make treats and bring them around to our friends and family. Didn't happen this year. Sorry!

I did make some fun Valentines for the kids. Here's how they turned out.

I put some pink and red fabric up (Jayce didn't want pink) and took the kids pictures with them holding their hand out.

BEFORE

Then I photo shopped a the heart and text into the picture. Once I got the prints I cut a slit above and below their hands and slid a real sucker into the card. I photo shopped a sucker in their hands since I can't really put a real sucker on the blog.

AFTER

To save a few pennies I also photo shopped them so I could print two on a 4 x 6. It was also a better size for their classes and friends. Everyone seemed to like them.

I got the idea from watching Studio 5, but I changed it a bit. Most everyone already saw these since I emailed and facebooked them already, but I thought I'd better blog about it too.
