Happy Mothers Day! Hope everyone had a nice day! I sure did. I got up to breakfast in bed, thanks to Mike, and cute little cards the kids made. For my gift I got to pick out a Storm Door for the Front Door, which I have been wanting for years. It shuts on it's own so I don't have to keep yelling at the kids to shut the door. I love it.
The kids and I made little planters for our grandma's. I also got one but mine is dying already. We went out to my parents for a steak dinner and had a really nice evening. 
Being a mother is the hardest job you could ever have, however it is the most rewarding as well. When I hear the kids giggling, when they want to give me kisses and hugs, or when they are sick or hurt and only want mommy I can't help but smile and remember how lucky I am. (except when they are throwing up!! eww!!)
I am also so appreciative for my mother who I now understand a lot better. She gave me a mother's day present. A tile with vinyl lettering that I put in my front room. It says "Mother's and Daughters become closer when Daughters become Mothers." I think really sums up our relationship.
