It seems like I have been decorating the house forever. I started putting up the outside lights mid November, it started raining on my little brother and I while we were on the roof but we got it done before we were hit by lightning, luckily. On Thursday I put out all the lawn stuff and garlands, but when I went to plug them in most of the lights were burned out. Yea me! All day Saturday we checked lights on everything, Mike helped me because I hate checking lights.Yesterday we started on the inside, we got the tree's up. Yes I said trees. You see I have so many ornaments in my ornament collection now that I had to get another tree. We have a small one in the front room and our big one in the living room. It always makes us laugh when the kids help put the ornaments on the tree and they are all bunched up in one place on the tree.
I have a few more garlands to put up inside and then I am done with the decorating. Now onto the sewing, shopping (this is almost done), baking goodies, wrapping presents, etc.
