The last couple months have been very busy. The kids started school. Jayce is in 4th grade in Mr. Zito's class this year. He is doing pretty well so far, and is getting to be very responsible with his school work this year. Halle began Kindergarten, she is in Mrs. Wallis' class in the afternoons. I was amazed at how much she is learning already. It has been so nice to have just Anna in the afternoons while the kids are in class. I make sure to run errands during that time so I only have to drag around one kid instead of 3.
Halle also started Dance lessons once a week at the West Valley Rec Center. She is having a good time jumping around with all the little girls in the class. We signed her up in a class with our neighbor Aleecia and they are really enjoying it. We've only had a few classes so we really haven't seen very much going on in there yet, a lot of stretching and spinning so far.
Jayce began flag football last week. They named their team the "Intercepticons," sounds like a bunch of 3rd and 4th graders, huh? He is learning the basics of football, it cost a lot less than regular football, and he is running around and getting tired. All great things. They won their first two games. He is having fun and that is what is most important.
In August I lost my job at Jetblue Airways. I actually resigned my position in lieu of termination. I just couldn't keep up with them. It is actually surprising that I lasted as long as I did, 4 years. They are very strict and I am too easy going. I'm sleeping a lot better now that I'm not stressed out about Jetblue anymore.
Last month I had the idea to put a dress on Ebay that I had sewn. It was a Princess Belle dress. I was shocked that I had several people trying to buy it and numerous e-mails with requests. Since then I have been sewing princess dresses part time at home and bringing in a little bit of extra money. It keeps me busy and out of too much trouble. I have completed 6 dresses and have 5 orders currently I am working on. Mike was surprised when I showed him my spread sheet and after materials and Internet fees I am actually making a profit. I am listing them on Ebay and on Etsy.com. My site is http://www.suziesewsalot23.etsy.com/. Sew that is what I've been up to lately.
I took the girls over to Target to have their pictures taken in some of my dresses so I can hopefully use the photo's online for business, etc. Here are some of them.
