Mike and I had a night out together. My mom volunteered to take our kids to the Riverton Parade, have them sleep over and then to our family's 4th of July Party at Aunt Judy's the next day. I thought our plans were ruined when Jayce wasn't feeling well that day. Mom still took him. She didn't want him to feel bad that he missed out.
Mike got home from work and he wasn't feeling well either. I told him we could just stay home but he didn't want me to feel bad. So we went. We had dinner at Thiafoon, one of our favorite places to eat. Unfortunately I started feeling bad during our meal. We were surprised that our bill was so small, that's what you get when you go out to eat when you have a sour stomach.
We saw Transformers 2. Even with our sour stomachs we enjoyed the show. It was a little long, crude, and we felt some of the parts were unnecessary. Overall we liked it. I don't think I'll be letting Jayce watch this one though.
